The boot camp kick-off meeting was held on April 26, 2023 at the New Science Common Building (NSC 305 Lab) after matching the participating with mentors drawn from both Palladium Kenya and JKUAT-DHARC. Dr. Reuben Thuo, who opened the boot camp noted that “Everybody has a role to play in health informatics”. The bootcamp took 20 days of activities, where students and mentors engaged, presentations made and weekly pulse-checks done, with the final evaluation done on Wednesday May 31, 2023.
